The first president "Toshio Tamada" was born.

1940

He was 12 years old. He was adopted by owner of famous chef's knife maker as an apprenticeship.

1981

President "Takafumi Tamada" was born.

1992

After the former president retired the famous chef's knife maker, he established "Cutlery Tamada". The former president was 65 years old at the time.

2000

Takafumi Tamada started to train under the former president. He was 18 years old.

2004

Trade name "Cutlery Tamada" was changed into "TOSHITAKA"

2006

Toshitaka began manufacturing gyuto for professional use.

2007

Toshitaka began manufacturing high quality chef’s knives.

2014

The former president was awarded as one of the excellent engineers in Seki-city.

2015

President "Takafumi Tamada" took over this business from the former president.

2017

25th anniversary of establishment

High Performance Chef's Knife Project was kicked into gear

2020

Former president finished his 79year's journy of chef's knives (91years old)

Trademark was registered at the patent office.
